VIOFO A229 PRO 3CH video recorder is an advanced solution for any driver who values safety and the highest quality of recordings. With three cameras recording in 4K, 2K and 1080P resolutions and state-of-the-art Sony STARVIS 2 technology, the device offers unparalleled video quality, both day and night. Every detail under control
The VIOFO A229 PRO is equipped with three cameras that capture images from the front, rear and inside the vehicle. The front camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor, which captures video in 4K with extraordinary detail and excellent color reproduction. The rear camera, with an IMX675 sensor, records in 2K quality, providing clear shots even in difficult lighting conditions. The interior camera, with its Sony STARVIS IMX307 sensor and built-in IR and four infrared LEDs, perfectly captures images of the vehicle's cabin, even in total darkness.
Superior image quality in any situation
All three channels record images with HDR technology, which guarantees a wide dynamic range. This allows the DVR to capture every detail in both bright and dark areas, eliminating the problem of overexposed or underexposed recordings. Combined with Sony STARVIS 2 technology, the device performs well at night, capturing clear license plate numbers and key details even in motion.
Intelligent voice control and notifications
The A229 PRO features advanced voice control, which allows you to, among other things, start recording, take pictures or turn on Wi-Fi with simple commands in different languages. In addition, the device notifies you of setting changes or memory card errors, allowing you to focus solely on driving.
Ultrafast Wi-Fi and data transfer
The built-in 5 GHz Wi-Fi module ensures smooth browsing, downloading and sharing of recordings. With the option to connect directly to a phone via a USB-C cable, users can download recordings at speeds of up to 20 MB/s, as well as easily update device software. This feature is compatible with the latest smartphones, including iPhone 15 and newer versions of Android. Note: Use a USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-C cable and make sure your phone supports 5V2A output. This data transfer method is compatible with the iPhone 15 series and newer versions of Android smartphones.
Protection even while parked
With its advanced parking mode, the A229 PRO monitors the vehicle's surroundings around the clock. There are three features to choose from: automatic event detection, time-lapse recording and low bit rate recording. Each option is designed to effectively protect your vehicle in any situation.
Accurate GPS and loop recording function
The built-in GPS module supports four navigation systems: GPS, BEIDOU, GALILEO and GLONASS, ensuring precise tracking of location, speed and time during recordings. A loop recording function allows automatic overwriting of older files, and a built-in G-sensor protects key recordings from deletion in the event of collisions and other mishaps.
CPL filter and clear HD screen
An excellent 2.4-inch HD screen allows you to conveniently view and configure your recordings right on the device. The interface is clear and easy to read, making use extremely simple without unnecessary complications. In addition, the CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter reduces reflections and glare, improving image quality and contrast. From now on, you can count on excellent visibility and high video quality regardless of the conditions.
